Sono state svolte le unità dalla 1 alla 10; alcune strutture grammaticali e famiglie lessicali sono state
esercitate anche dalla grammatica di riferimento. Per tutte le Units sono state svolte numerose attività di
reading, writing, listening and speaking (in coppie o individuali con presentazioni alla classe).
Alcuni temi (culture)sono stati trattati usando materiale in fotocopia: ‘Video games around the world’,
‘Print or online?. Infine, per migliorare la fluency, si sono usati alcuni rap songs ( irregular verbs, phrasal
verbs, have+noun col location, will, countable and uncountable nouns).
A conclusione delle lezioni sul tema ‘feelings and emotions’ la classe ha visto il film in lingua inglese Inside
Out.

Per le vacanze estive è stato assegnato un libro di lettura graduato . Gli studenti possono scegliere una delle
due seguenti opzioni : ‘Time Games’, livello B1.1 ( Black Cat) oppure ‘The Time machine’, livello B1.2 ( Black
Cat). La trama, l’ambientazione, i personaggi e le attività del libro letto saranno oggetto della prima verifica
nel mese di settembre 2019. Agli allievi con sospensione di giudizio, si consiglia anche di rivedere con cura
gli esercizi svolti e corretti in classe dal libro di testo e dalla grammatica di riferimento.

E’ stato svolto un modulo di English for Science, in preparazione alla visita al Musée Curie di Parigi, in
occasione dello scambio effettuato con la Scuola di Sarcelles. Sono stati trattati i seguenti temi : Marie
Curie ( life and works), the Atom, Atomic Energy, Atomic Plants)
