Cari Colleghi,Sono lieto di accogliere tutti voi qui a Milano per il Primo Congresso Nazionale dellaAssociazione Italiana dei Chirurghi Epato-bilio-pancreatici (AICEP). Si tratta del primoevento della nuova Associazione che si sostituisce al Capitolo Italiano della InternationalHepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), pur restando affiliata a rappresentanzadel nostro paese alla Società internazionale di riferimento che è oggi, con la regiona-lizzazione della IHPBA, la European-African Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association(E-AHPBA). AICEP vuole significare inclusione, meritocrazia, innovazione e ricercaper costruire il riferimento nazionale della comunità HPB e rappresentarla nelmondo. Questo Primo Congresso Nazionale di AICEP è un’occasione importante per lacomunità italiana HPB per scambiare idee, proporre collaborazioni ed avanzare progettiscientifici comuni. La comunità HPB italiana merita tutto questo perché è tra le più au-torevoli al mondo per livello clinico, e scientifico delle Scuole chirurgiche in essa rap-presentate che ora trovano in AICEP una dimora.
Dear colleagues, i am pleased to welcome you all here in Milan for the First national congress of the italianAssociation of hepatobilio-pancreatic Surgeons (AicEp). this is the first event of the newAssociation that replaces the italian chapter of the international hepato-pancreato-BiliaryAssociation (ihpBA) although remaining affiliated in the representation of our country to theinternational Society of Reference which is today, with the regionalization of the ihpBA, theEuropean-African hepato-pancreato-Biliary Association (E-AhpBA). AicEp should mean inclusion,meritocracy, innovation and research, and should be national reference and internationalrepresentativeness. this First national congress of AicEp is an important opportunity for theitalian hpB community to exchange ideas, propose collaborations and advance scientific projects.the italian hpB community deserves this because it is one of the most authoritative in the world forthe clinical and scientific level of the surgical schools represented in it that now find in AicEp a home.
