The missionary story of the Canossians

The mission is an interesting and engaging story in the lives of the

Canossian Sisters. These pages must be read and re-read to understand better what the mission is experiencing today and what expectations the future holds. It is a book, written by many different hands in the Canossian Missions, and it is an unquestionable heritage which men and women have generously offered who have dedicated their lives to concrete initiatives of support and activities all over the world. This effort can be seen in schools, dispensaries, soup kitchens, clinics, hospitals, in centres created to protect children, women and the sick, during the complete span of time since the beginning

of missionary activity in the Canossian Institute. Our mission is to help the least of the least and the Canossian Sisters of the communities of Pavia and Venice spent themselves totally in this way from 1860, looking further afie to other countries and peoples, reaching, today, 37 Nations in 360 communities scattered throughout the 5 continents.
