Legno con fi bratura diritta e tessitura media; dal colore bruno-rosato, che si accentua con la stagionatura. Diffuso in tutta Europa, nell’ Asia Minore, nel Caucaso, negli Stati Uniti e in alcune zone dell’America Centrale.This is a wood with straight and medium fi ber, with dark- roseate colour that increase with the seasoning. The tree is widespread all over the Europe,Asia Minor,Caucasus,in the USA and in some areas of Central America.

Legno resistente, fi bratura diritta anche se irregolare, tessitura grossolana, dal colore giallastro solcato nelle sezioni radiali da raggi midollari che ne caratterizzano il legno,è largamente diffuso in tutta l’Europa centrale e occidentale. It is a resistant wood with straight coarse fi ber even if irregular;It is yellowish coloured and in the radial section it is lined by medullary rays that are typical of this wood. It is widespread in Western and Central Europe.

Legno bruno-rossastro che all’aria tende a scurirsi. Fibratura diritta e tessitura fi ne; mediamente pesante, moderatamente duro e poco elastico. Poco resistente ai funghi e insetti. Diffuso nell’area tropicale africana.It is a dark-red wood that for the effect of the air grows dark considerably; with fi ne weaving and straight fi ber, medium weight and hard, and not very fl exible. Le fi niture sono eseguite singolarmente per ogni componente dell’anta prima dell’assemblaggio, con verniciatura trasparente poliuretanica a poro semiaperto per le porte della linea Aedilia Plus, con verniciatura trasparente acrilica microtesturizzata a poro semiaperto per le porte della linea Aedilia Avant.

Finishes are made piece by piece, (prior to sefore assembling), with trasparent half-open pore paint (for stained doors), with pigmented close pore paint (for laquered doors). Laquereds are available with smooth fi nish semiopaque and and microtexturized opaque.

La tessitura é fi ne con libratura per lo più diritta. I raggi midollari sono evidenti e, nelle sezioni radiali, si presentano come specchiature lucide molto caratteristiche. The texture is fi ne with mostly straight grain. The annular rings are clearly defi ned and, in the outer sections, are apparent as particularly shiny and mirror-like.

Legno mediamente duro dal bel colore rosato inconfodibile, compatto con tessitura fi ne e fi bratura diritta. L’albero è diffuso nell’Europa centro meridionale. It is a medium hard wood that has a beautiful, unique and roseate colour, with fi ne weaving and straight fi ber. The tree is widespread in southern center Europe.

Legno duro, molto resistente in particolamodo alla pressione meccanica, con forte contenuto di resine di varie natura che lo rendono inattaccabile dai parassiti. Colorazione variabile dal marrone al marrone scuro con rifl essi nero violacei. Tessitura grossa diritta che presenta distorsione discordante.It is hard wood, much resistant in particular to the mechanical pressure, it contains resines of various kind, which make it unattackable by parasites. It has a variable coloration form brown to dark brownwith black-purpish glares. It has also a straight large weaving that presents discordant distortions.

Viene largamente impiegato in falegnameria, in ebanisteria, per vari lavori d’artigianato. Si presta a venir tornito, curvato e tinto.Joints affi xed with nails and screws hold well, but it is advisable to proceed with a precautionary drilling in the planned seat of the screws/nails. This wood is frequently used in woodwork, in cabinet-making, for various types of handicraft.

Viene impiegato in ebanisteria oltreché per la realizzazione di mobili di pregio, anche in liuteria e per tutti gli usi in cui viene posto in risalto il suo bel colore.
