TEMA Il contest punta ad individuare foto relative al tema dell’architettura del giorno dopo; foto di architettura contemporanea, di importante realizzazione, in cui si evincono aspetti di cattiva manutenzione, degrado, ab-bandono o non compiuto. “Che cosa succede ad una qualsiasi opera architettonica dopo il fatidico taglio del nastro?Quali differenze sostanziali si evincono tra progettazi-one e realizzazione?Purezza formale, decoro architettonico, idea composi-tiva, tutto ciò è associabile al problema della manutenzi-one e della naturale trasformazione dettata dal passaggio inesorabile del tempo?Cosa rappresenta oggi il monumento all’incompiuto?Infine un’opera architettonica è fine a se stessa e al giorno dell’inaugurazione o ha una vita durevole nel tempo?”

THEME The contest aims to find photos related to the theme of the architecture of the next day , photos of contemporary architecture, of accomplishment, which can be inferred aspects of poor maintenance, degradation , neglect or not accomplished.

“What happens to any architectural work after the fateful ribbon cutting ?What differences can be inferred between design and implementation ?Formal purity , architectural decoration , compositional idea , everything can be associated to the problem of maintenance and natural transformation dictated by the inexorable passage of time ?What is now the monument at not accomplished ?Finally, an architectural work is an end in itself and the day of , or has a long-lasting life ?”

PIER MANUEL SCARPATO (Consiglio direttivo Studio UTC+1): la fotografia dal titolo STAMPELLE sintetizza alla perfezione il tema dell’ARCHITETTURA DEL GIORNO DOPO, un’architettura contemporanea , di un architetto importante, in cui progettazione e realizzazione non sono in relazione. Denunciare con la fotografia tali ammanchi costruttivi mantenendo però una qualità espressiva avulsa dalla mera evidenziazione del singolo degrado è il vero valore aggiunto di questa immagine di architettura. VANESSA VIAN (Associato Studio UTC+1): Devo fare innanzitutto i complimenti a tutti i parte-cipanti che hanno interpretato un tema molto impor-tante e molto delicato, soprattutto in questi ultimi anni. Ho trovato molto interessanti tutte le fotografie ed il mio giudizio è superiore la sufficienza per tutti i parte-cipanti. Complimenti.

Arch PIER MANUEL SCARPATO (Board Member of the Studio UTC+1) the photograph titled “Stampelle” summarizes perfectly the theme ARCHITECTURE OF THE DAY AFTER , an architecture contemporary, an important architect , where design and construc-tion are not in report. Denouncing with photography these shortfalls construction while maintaining a qual-ity expressive divorced from mere highlighting of the individual degradation is the real added value of this architecture .
