I prodotti Altro Fuoco: Biofiamma di design

Elementi d’arredo che creano un atmosfera suggestiva e valorizzano l’arredamento della casa e del giardino producendo al tempo stesso un piacevole riscaldamento.Possono essere inseriti in qualsiasi ambiente anche privo di canna fumaria e sono facilmente spostabili.Sono alimentati con un prodotto naturale derivante dai vegetali (Bioetanolo). Il Bioetanolo che è un alcool etilico biologico denaturato è ricavato dalla distillazione di biomasse naturali come ad esempio mais, patate, barbabietole da zucchero, etc.. Il design firmato da architetti e designer di livello internazionale, consente una perfetta integrazione in ambientazioni classiche e moderne valorizzando e rendendo esclusivo l’arredamento della casa e del giardino.

I caminetti ecologici (o biocaminetti) non necessitano di canna fumaria e consumano un combustibile rinnovabile e non inquinante.Il biocaminetto viene normalmente utilizzato come complemento per l’arredamento, in quanto è facile collocarlo, è sicuro, crea un’atmosfera suggestiva, ma non è sufficiente per utilizzarlo come riscaldamento in sostituzione dell’impianto classico; è però un’ottima idea se si tratta di arredare una casa passiva o a basso consumo energetico.La principale caratteristica di questo tipo di combustione è quella di non rilasciare alcun odore nell’ambiente e di produrre solamente una quantità di anidride carbonica (CO2 ), pari a quella prodotta dalla presenza di un essere umano nella stanza; in particolare è un sistema ecologico perchè la quantità emessa di CO2 con la combustione è la stessa di quella che è stata assorbita qualche anno prima con la fotosintesi clorofilliana.La fiamma produce un forte calore, sufficiente per riscaldare adeguatamente, una superficie di oltre 30 mq; essa ha inoltre la caratteristica di non produrre scintille. Si ricordi che, non esistendo la canna fumaria, non vi è dispersione di calore, per cui il rendimento è del 100%.

They can be installed in every environment also without flue and can be easily displaced. They are supplied with a natural product derived from vegetables (Bioethanol). The Bioethanol is an ethylic biological methylated spirits, it is obtained from natural biomasses as for example corn, potatoes, sugar-beets, etc.

The design signed by architects and designers of international level, allows a perfect integration in classical and modern spaces making the interior of the house and the garden valuable and exclusive.

The ecological fireplaces do not need a flue and they consume a renewable and not polluting fuel.

The bio-fireplace is commonly used as a complement for the interior, as it is easy to place, it is safe, it creates a charming atmosphere, but it is not sufficient to be used as a heater in substitution of the classical installation; it is, however, the best solution if it is a matter of interiors in a passive house or with a low energetic consumption.The principal feature of this kind of combustion is that of not leaving in the surrounding any smell and to produce only a quantity of dioxide carbon (CO2) as that produced by a person in the room; in particular it is an ecological system because the quantity emitted by (CO2) with the combustion it is the same of the one which has been absorbed some years ago with the chlorophyll photosynthesis.The flame produces a strong heat, enough to heat properly, an area of over 30 square meters; no sparkles are produced. Il bioetanolo è un alcool ottenuto dalla fermentazione di biomasse, prodotti naturali, come gli scarti di barbabietola da zucchero, patate, cereali e così via...E’ una fonte di energia che no si esaurisce nel tempo, si tratta quindi di un combustibile di origine naturale, economico e rinnovabile.

Una risorsa rinnovabile si dice anche “sostenibile”, se il tasso di riproduzione della medesima è uguale o superiore a quello di utilizzo.

Il processo di produzione del bioetanolo genera, a seconda delle materie prime utilizzate, diversi sottoprodotti con valenza economica (destinabili, a seconda dei casi, alla mangimistica, alla coproduzione di energia elettrica e calore ecc.)

Sergio Fabio Rotella, architetto, nato a Catanzaro nel 1963, vive e lavora a Milano. Master alla Domus Academy di Milano 1988/89. Dal 1990 al 1995 collabora con l’Atelier Mendini come coordinatore di progetti di architettura, design ed eventi. Nel 1996 fonda lo “Studio Rotella” che si occupa di architettura, design e consulenze per Aziende.

Architetto eclettico, legato alle arti applicate che utilizza come punto di riferimento e fonte di spunti concettuali. I lavori comprendono progetti architettonici di ampio respiro, architetture concettuali come il parco tematico “ll giardino delle Religioni e del Dialogo“ a Gibellina, grandi architetture come il “Nuovo Aereoporto della Calabria“, inoltre è in corso il progetto “Museo Italia“ a Pechino per conto del Ministero per il Beni e le Attività Culturali. Fabio Rotella disegna arredi ed oggetti per le più importanti Aziende come Bisazza, Buzzi & Buzzi, Slide, Swatch, Venini ed altre.

Rotella è consulente e art director di alcune Aziende per le quali cura l’immagine, si occupa dell’ ideazione e coordinamento di eventi artistico-culturali, partecipa a diverse mostre nazionali ed internazionali; coordina work-shop per alcune scuole di design e architettura.

Sergio Fabio Rotella, architect, was born in Catanzaro in 1963, at present he lives and works in Milan. He obtained a Master at the Domus Academy of Milan in 1988/89. From 1990 to 1995 he worked at the Atelier Mendini as a coordinator of architectural, design and event projects. In 1996 he founded “Studio Rotella” whose focus of interest are architecture, design and professional advice to companies. An eclectic architect, he specialises in applicative arts which he uses as a reference point and source of conceptual hints for his works. His production includes far-ranging architectural projects both in Italy and abroad, conceptual architectural works such as the Thematic Park “11 Giardino delle Religioni e del Dialogo” (the garden of religions and of the dialogue) in Gibellina, Sicily, Italy; large architectural projects, including the “Nuovo Aeroporto della Calabria” (The new Airport of Calabria, Italy) and the Municipal Theatre in Soverato, Calabria, Italy; interior design projects, such as the Casino in Campione d’ltalia, the new offices of Banca Sella in Biella, Italy, as well as urban upgrading and industrial reconversion. These design approaches propose new ideas on how to exploit the living space and conceive architecture in present times. Studio Rotella has provided professional services to several Municipalities in Italy. Fabio Rotella gives professional advice to some companies as the art director and promotes their corporate image. He designs and coordinates cultural and artistic events and takes part in several national and international design exhibitions; coordinates workshops for design and architecture schools. He also manages communication and image promotion campaigns for some international brands such as Heineken, Budweiser, Absolut Vodka, Mc Donald’s, Swatch, Bisazza, Coca Cola, Breil, Fiat and others. In 2008, Fabio Rotella founded About-Design, a new brand for which he designed a limited edition of furniture and interiors, lighting fixtures and pictures. His elegant projects contribute to enrich the spaces where people spend their time, thereby determining new aesthetical and functional features always characterised by a poetical approach which make them stand out.

NOW LAB: Sotto la guida dell’architetto Pietro Gaeta, collaboratori dalle approfondite competenze sviluppano i progetti partendo dal concept allo sviluppo del progetto dettagliato, dal progetto architettonico al design degli interni e degli arredi. Lo Studio ha una lunga esperienza nella progettazione in ambito sia residenziale che commerciale. Nel corso degli

anni sono stati realizzati concept e progettazione esecutiva di interni per negozi singoli e catene, alberghi, case di lusso, ville e uffici di rappresentanza per aziende.Tutti i progetti rientrano nel concetto di “Total Design”.

Tra i progetti più importanti un concept per Boscolo Hotel, le boutique Mariella Burani in tutto il mondo, per i punti vendita diretti e in franchising, l’ampliamento e la ristrutturazione di uno dei palazzi della famiglia Reale di Abu Dhabi, il progetto architettonico e degli interni di un albergo di lusso “Villa Guarracino Resort” a Napoli. Per conto della Mabro, abbigliamento sartoriale, abbiamo progettato lo show room e l’atelier per il su misura a Milano, il Factory Store a Grosseto e un concept per lo sviluppo di alcuni punti vendita diretti in Italia e Stati Uniti.

Among the most important projects, a concept for Boscolo Hotel, Mariella Burani boutiques around the world, for direct sales outlets and franchises, the expansion and renovation of one of the palaces of the royal family of Abu Dhabi, the architectural design and interior of a luxury hotel “Villa Resort Guarracino” in Naples. On behalf of Mabro, dress clothes, we designed the showroom and studio for custom in Milan, the Factory Store in Grosseto and a concept for the development of some direct sales outlets in Italy and the United States.

I controlli, come le emissioni in atmoslera, sono eseguiti scrupolosamente ed i fornitori sono scelti tra aziende che hanno la stessa nostra visione.

Per rendere oggettivo e visibile questo atteggiamento OCM ha deciso di uniformarsi agli standard ambientali previsti dalla UNI EN ISO 14001 “Sistemi di gestione ambientale”.

OCM is sensitive to the environment and the effects caused by the transformation of the materials used for the production of its products. For this reason, starting from planning design, for the environment the lowest impact materials are chosen, in consideration of the raw materials production meaning, its processing, the manufacture of the product, up to disposal and possible reuse of materials.

To confirm this commitment, OCM estimates for each item the weight percentage of recycled and recyclable material.

To further confirm this cultural and fruitful production; OCM sensitizes its customers to limit the load of waste and gives them the opportunity to return company items with worn parts, to replace them: it can be said that our product is not only recyclable but also reusable.

Respect for the environment is not only this but also and above all a state of mind of the whole company, from management to the production workers. As a result, a careful selection of waste and materials used in the production is made, in view of the quality of the final product, but also of their danger to employees and to the environment Controls, such as emissions in atmosphere are carried out carefully and suppliers are chosen from companies that have the same vision of ours.

To make objective and visible this attitude OCM has decided to comply with the environmental standards required by UNI EN ISO 14001 “Environmental Management Systems”.
