Al campo, dove roggio nel filarequalche pampano brilla, e dalle frattesembra la nebbia mattinal fumare,
arano: a lente grida, uno le lentevacche spinge; altri semina; un ribattele porche con sua marra paziente;
ché il passero saputo in cor già gode,e il tutto spia dai rami irti del moro;e il pettirosso: nelle siepi s'odeil suo sottil tintinno come d'oro.

Our future livesIn our future we won’t fly around in space rockets, we won’t wear space suits and we won’t eat vitamin pills instead of real food. People probably won’t live on the Moon or Mars, either.Life in 50 years time won’t be very different from now. The most important thing will be the environment. New technology will concentrate on saving energy and finding new types of energy, like the sun and wind. We need to reduce the quantity of carbon dioxide (CO2)
in the atmosphere. Recently, architects have designed a house which uses energy from the sun and wind and doesn’t produce any carbon. More people will work from home using computer technology and so won’t have to travel to the office every day. There will be car-free zones in town centre. We will use public transport and we’ll walk and cycle more.Industry will also make changes in the way it produces food, clothes and other products to reduce carbon emissions. Finally we’ll re-use and recycle a lot more.
