La qualità dei prodotti Flou è talento nel progetto, passione per i materiali, attenzione per i dettagli e innovazione tecnologica continua. In 30 anni Flou ha lavorato con i migliori designer italiani e creato

‘Sistemi letto’ unici che durano nel tempo ma che diventano come nuovi, cambiando il rivestimento. Ha messo il suo ingegno al servizio di reti, materassi, piumini e Guardaroba, trovando sempre il modo per renderli più fruibili e personalizzabili. Ha selezionato materiali di altissima qualità come: legno, alluminio, pelle, lattice e piume d’oca ungherese, solo per citarne alcuni. Ha valorizzato il patrimonio dei tessuti Flou, utilizzandolo per rivestire sia i letti sia le ante dei Guardaroba 16.32. Si è impegnata nelle lavorazioni e nelle fi niture, privilegiando un mix di cura artigianale e tecnologia applicata al design. Tutta la produzione di Flou è pensata per essere vissuta e resistere all’usura, perché solo una qualità totale lascia liberi di vivere lo spazio secondo il proprio stile.

The quality of the Flou products lies with the company’s skills in design, passion for the materials, attention to detail and ongoing technological innovation. Over the 30 years since its foundation, Flou has worked with the ver y best Italian designers to create unique ‘Bed systems’ which last over time and which can be revamped simply by changing the covers. The expertise has also been applied to the bed-bases, the mattresses, the duvets and the wardrobes, with the company always oriented to identifying a way of making these articles more practical and personalized. Only materials of extremely high quality are selected such as: wood, aluminum, leather, latex, and Hungarian goose down, just to mention a few. It has exalted the legacy of the Flou fabrics, using them to cover the beds and the doors of the Guardaroba 16.32 wardrobe collection. It is dedicated to top quality production and finish, combining artisan care and attention with technology applied to design. All of the Flou production has been created to be enjoyed to the full and to resist wear-and-tear, because only maximum quality will allow total freedom to enjoy the home in one’s own personal style.

LA CERTIFICAZIONE AMBIENTALETHE ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION

La qualità passa anche dal rispetto e dalla salvaguardia dell’ambiente. Flou considera un dovere adottare modelli di sviluppo sostenibile e ridurre l’impatto ambientale della propria attività. Per questo s’impegna a migliorare ed ottimizzare le proprie prestazioni ambientali, responsabilizzando il proprio personale e tutta la fi liera. Sforzi per i quali ha meritato la certifi cazione ambientale ‘Qualità Ambientale ISO 14001’. Flou si impegna, in ogni fase della produzione, a rispettare le normative ambientali, a privilegiare le materie prime naturali e riciclabili, a scegliere fornitori locali appartenenti allo stesso territorio di Flou e a ridurre l’inquinamento e gli scarti derivanti dall’attività industriale, limitando i consumi energetici.

There are more than 40 models of beds in the Flou sleeping system; they have been created by the ver y best designers on the Italian scenario. La testata ha il bordo perimetrale in poliuretano schiumato rigido, mentre la zona di appoggio testa-spalle è resa confortevole dall’impiego di poliuretano morbido. Il piano di riposo è a doghe regolabili oppure con base contenitore salvaspazio. Il retro testata è costituito da un guscio-scocca in metacrilato termoformato che, sganciandosi dalla struttura, agevola la sfoderabilità del rivestimento. The high concentration of springs (almost twice as many as found in a traditional mattress) is the main feature of these mattresses. Springs are available in a three-zone version andfor adjustable bases as well; each spring is sealed in a single pouch allowing it to be compressed in proportion to the specific pressure exerted by the body thus ensuring the correct support for the vertebral column. L’imbottitura è invece costituita da un pannello composto da cotone o lana con densità variabile da 500gr a 1000gr al mq, mentre le certifi cazioni Euro Latex Standard e Oeko-Tex Standard certifi cano che i materiali utilizzati, dalla schiuma di lattice al materiale visco-elastico, non contengono sostanze nocive per l’uomo. Il materasso è disponibile con un lato in cotone e un lato in lana oppure con entrambi i lati in cotone. Il rivestimento è trattato antimacchia Tefl on® ed è totalmente impermeabile, permettendo l’eliminazione di possibili macchie con un semplice colpo di spazzola o con un panno pulito. Serie di contenitori in ebano makassar caratterizzati da un raffi nato tipo di lavorazione, denominato “folding”, che prevede l’impiego esclusivamente di lastre di grandi pezzature, ad evitare che la superfi cie dei mobili presenti interruzioni e antiestetiche giunture. I cassetti hanno frontali in ebano, in pelle o in pelle stampata iguana e sono dotati di eleganti maniglie a fi bbia. Profi li e maniglie disponibili nelle fi niture: cromato lucido o grigio anticato smerigliato a mano.

This is a series of storage containers in Makassar ebony. The pieces are characterized by an elegant process called ‘ folding ’ that involves the use of large pieces of veneer and avoids any interruptions or unsightly joins on the surfaces of the furniture. The drawers have front panels in ebony, in leather or iguana-printed leather. They are fitted with elegant buckle-like handles. Trim and handles available in a polished chrome-plated finish or a matt distressed hand-brushed gray finish.

A series of storage containers with drawers and doors which have been given a hand-brushed lacquer finish. This creates a particularly unusual silk effect. The procedure has been completely hand-performed, in full respect of the highest quality of Italian craftwork. The structure is MDF with a lacquer finish, available in ivor y, ruby red and black.
